> 1. CCG: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Carmen: I grew up in Hendersonville, TN, always singing in church. In 2009, I went to Belmont University to study music, and in 2012 I joined the band 1 Girl Nation which I was a part of for 5 years. I’ve always had a love for dancing, singing, and performing and I love traveling. I would definitely call myself an enthusiast and one random fact about me is that I can walk on my hands!

> 2. CCG: What are you hoping to say with this new album?

Carmen: My biggest message through my music is that have to control our lives and love is always stronger than hate. I think with the world that we are living in, I want to write music that can apply to REAL issues that we are all facing every day. I can’t wait for people to hear what I’ve been working on and “Flaming Arrows” is just the beginning of what is to come.
