It’s these very words which prompted me to reassess my own walk with God and examine what it really, truly meant to follow Jesus recklessly.
Ladies, I ask, whose definition of success, worth, beauty and love are we living for? Jesus or Man? Whose hands are we surrendering our whole world and selves into? Jesus or Man? What’s more important to us in this life if push came to shove? Getting married or following Jesus?
I think what makes this woman fiercely beautiful is her willingness and boldness to be different by standing next to God’s side, not the world’s. She has chosen to find her life, value, purpose and hope in Jesus Christ. She has believed Jesus to be all she needs, in this life and the next. She has sought Jesus as the real prize and goal in life, not that of a husband or a holiday to the Maldives. Instead of twiddling her thumbs for a guy to come along and satisfy her, she has opted to live a life of passion and purpose, quietly yet confidently knowing God's love is what truly satisfies. Today, she independently sponsors eight children through Compassion and spends her free time on many humanitarian missions, caring for the poorest of the poor all around the globe.

Young ladies, my prayer for you today is this: Pursue the Prince of all Princes wholeheartedly like the woman depicted above is. Jesus is the only man capable of completing you. He is the only man who has what it takes to turn your "ashes into beauty" and transform you from pauper to princess in a heartbeat.
Guys, love, relationships, marriage, sex, family, homes, fashion, jobs, titles, talents….. these bearings do not define our beauty or worth or life. Our beauty and worth doesn’t rest in the spoken words of mankind but in the spoken words of one man. A man whose love goes deeper than the ocean floor and soars higher than the shinning stars.
Much like my good friend in this story, let’s also live a life of passion and purpose. Let’s strive to follow Jesus and surrender our every desire into His loving hands. And let’s understand that His presence is what makes everyone of us truly beautiful from the inside out.
