Orgran Vegan Yorkshire Puddings Serves 6 Ingredients: • 9 teaspoons Dairy-Free Margarine or Sunflower Oil • 115 grams Self-Raising Flour, sieved • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder • 1 pinch Salt • 55 grams ORGRAN No Egg, Egg Replacer • 80 milliliters Water • 280 milliliters Rice Milk Flavours (optional) • 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder • 2 tablespoons Onion Powder Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (Gas Mark 7/425°F). 2. Grab a 6-hole muffin tray and dollop in 1 tsp vegan margarine or sunflower oil into each hole. 3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the No Egg, Egg Replacer into a smooth paste with the water then slowly add in the rice milk. 4. Place the bun tray in the oven for 10 minutes so it gets very hot. 5. Now add half the No Egg, Egg Replacer liquid to the dry flour mix. Whisk to a smooth paste then incorporate the rest of the liquid until you have a smooth batter. The mixture will be thicker than a normal Yorkshire pudding batter, but if your whisk can stand up in it, it’s too thick, so add a little more water to thin it down. 6. Working quickly but carefully, remove the muffin tin from the oven and spoon the batter into each hole – it should sizzle. Return the tin to the oven immediately and bake for 18-22 minutes. 58 Complete Health Orgran Date Brownies Serves 12 Ingredients: • ORGRAN Chocolate Brownie Mix • 120 grams Butter or dairy free buttery spread • 2 x eggs or equivalent egg replacer • 1 cup pitted Fresh dates • 1/2 cup hot water Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a lamington or slice/brownie pan and line it with baking paper. Set aside. 2. Wash, deseed and chop your dates as much as you can until it’s almost mush. 3. Melt butter in a heavy bottomed saucepan over low heat – add the dates. Remove from heat, and lightly whisk through the dates so they spread out in the mix. 4. In a large bowl add Brownie mix, eggs or egg replacer, and hot water. Combine until smooth. Add the butter and dates. Whisk for another minute. 5. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes. 6. Allow to cool in the pan for around 5 – 10 minutes before slicing.
