Everything Good
Glasshouse Mountains
treasure trove of eclectic memorabilia is
brimming with historical curios which
give the place a unique charm that
leaves one wanting to return.
The Market Garden is located directly
behind the shop and it is not uncommon
for Neil or one of his team to quickly
duck out the back to pick something
they may have just run out of in store for
a customer. As Neil says, “you can’t get
fresher than that!”
Freshly and organically grown Kale,
Silverbeet, Chard, Shallots, Broccoli,
Cauliflower and Snow Peas are just
some of the crops Neil lovingly grows
and tends. He also grows more unusual
crops such as Yakon, Cassava, Yam,
Rosella and Okra.
Supporting the local growers is
something Neil is very passionate about
and he has long standing relationships
with more than 45 local growers who
deliver fresh produce daily.
Everything Good branched into
selling health foods, grains, flours, nuts,

You could say Neil Federer is living
the dream! While many of us deal
with traffic jams and long commutes
to get to work, Neil takes a few steps

“I hate shopping, so now I just buy
everything I need and want and luckily
other people want those things too!”
Neil jokes.
It is not uncommon for customers to
have to jump over puddles to get into
the shop, and the lack of air conditioning
means there are days when you have to
sweat it out whilst doing your shopping,
and other days when you shiver. Neil
says his loyal customers are committed
and whilst it may not be a destination for
the faint hearted Everything Good enjoys
the support from a growing number of
diehard customers.
Fun is the order of the day at
Everything Good where conversation
with staff and customers flows freely,
as they share recipes, stories on what
foods have helped them to overcome
various health conditions, and of course
the odd joke or two, laughter and chatter
is encouraged. For Neil and his team
they are rewarded when they see their
customers smiling faces return time and
time again.
