Dear Reader, Mental illness is foremost on our minds today due to it getting close to being an epidemic in proportion. It is worth focusing on the teenagers of society, as it is a tough gig especially now with the ability to cyber bully and even use sites that make it possible to be anonymous to bully others. Teenagers are stressing their brains more now than in living memory. They are exposed to excess blue light and spend that precious time soaking up the excess EMF potentially heating up the brain if they are using devises near to their head, and loads of them not getting enough sunlight. When I am out and about, I use an Air tube as a way of substantially reducing EMF when on mobile phones. When one constantly overtaxes the nervous system one can weaken the immune system which is key for all regeneration throughout the body. How can the orthodoxy keep saying we get enough nutrition and don’t need supplements by eating a good diet? Knowing that most children are only getting ~10% of their required daily fruit and vegetable intake, they need to stay healthy. Even if they were, they have huge demands for all nutrients to cover growth of developing hormones, the muscular skeletal system and the brain. These high emotional stress levels can burn through Vitamin C, B group vitamin, Zinc and Magnesium tenfold plus, over and above good diet just to support the adrenals which can easily become exhausted. No wonder Glandular Fever is rampant among teenagers at school and many are knocked for six having ongoing fatigue for months and years after. For some, this is also a recipe for contracting Chronic Fatigue, Hypothyroidism and susceptibility for other opportunistic infections. My children grew up in a less stressful time and got Tangy C and Super B liquid each day before breakfast and a Zinc/Magnesium drink when they came home. My son had one round of vaccinations 40 years ago and then the penny dropped for me as it took quite some time to get his immune system back to competency. My two daughters were not vaccinated and had very robust immunity right through their childhood and teenage years. I am happy to say, none of 8 Complete Health them got glandular fever however, there was still plenty of it moving through the teens in the 90’s. We were never frightened by an infection because we knew how to safely take Vitamin C up to bowel tolerance to super charge the immune system. These days I am more in favour of supercharging immunity with Diatomic Oxygen and Formula 5 drops in every glass of water for the next 24 to 48 hours. Add 3-5ml of Diatomic Oxygen. It kicks nearly every other therapy into gear, including herbal medicine and much loved olive leaf extract, so it is an amazing catalyst. Can we take the risk by avoiding supplementing our teenagers with these quintessential nutrients? Nowadays teenagers have so much EMF exposure to deal with it is a frightening phenomenon. I believe by not addressing each child’s individual nutritional needs will be contributing to the increased risk in childhood health challenges including some cancers and possibly even mental health issues. We know that a deficiency of Zinc, B6 and Magnesium can inhibit a child’s ability to concentrate in class and may even cause them to be disruptive to others. When you have a teenager that has homework to do after school, they really need 5-10ml of Super B liquid and a level teaspoon of Tangy C in the one glass of water. This is ideally taken before they start snacking and get head down to study. Zinc cannot work effectively without B6 and Magnesium. Super B liquid contains B6, Zinc and Tangy C contains Magnesium. Super B liquid and Tangy C are very pleasing on the palate with better absorption than most tablets and more economical to use. Super B contains high levels of inositol and choline which helps boost cognitive function. If you have teenagers engaged in sport, they may need a magnesium powder with co-factors for better muscle energy and recovery and Transmag topically. Teenagers now more than ever have compromised sleep with possible lower levels of Melatonin being produced because of the excess blue light. This combination of issues impact their health and you may see greater mood
