Deposit Release
What happens after the check-out has been prepared?
Upon receipt of the check-out we prepare a schedule of damages noting what, in our
opinion, can reasonably be recovered from your tenant. Typical claims include deficiencies
in cleaning, missing items and deterioration in décor beyond fair wear and tear.
We passtheschedule of damages to you for your consideration. Once you are satisfied with it
we passa copy to the tenant for his comments and approval. If your tenant is in agreement,
funds can be released in line with your joint instructions.
Your prompt attention aslandlord in dealing with release of the deposit is essential under
the termsof HousingAct 2004( Tenancy Deposit Protection).
If you are planningto be away from home after the tenancy ends, please ensure you provide
your property manager with contact detailsaswe are unable to proceed without your
instructions.
