D ream Big
TO LIVE BIG
By CHLOE Wine & Cuisine Editor Angela Aiello
A wise person once said to me that if you don’t
dream, you don’t live. As a self-professed dreamer,
I like to think that life really is what you make it
and seek out. California is a place to witness this
in action. It is a place to find inspiration, revel in
passion, and be reminded that you really do only
live once. Many will agree with me that once you
go to California it is in you forever. My first trip to
California showed me everything I needed to dream
big, from ro mantic sunsets to exquisite culinary experiences to wine memories. It is truly the ultimate
destination for anyone who appreciates wine, food
and adventure. Right now is an exciting time to
visit the West coast, as people are revolutionizing
travel experiences and redefining what is special
about the region. It is here in this state where you
realize creativity should reign and be at the heart of
everything you do. Here, this true sense of passion is
abundant and infectious. When I recently returned
to California, it inspired me even more to keep going and keep dreaming, and to maintain passion as
my driving source.
For me, this is an important reason to travel – not
just to escape regular life, but to be filled up with
energy that renews your soul. I veered off the path
most-traveled and adventured to some lesser-known
regions in California. I always try to keep creativity
at the heart of everything I do – for work, for love
and for life. As a writer, I wanted an itinerary that
would inspire me to put pen to paper, explore my
inner photographer, and speak to my secret artist. I
wanted to be in awe of the world again, and that is
exactly what I did. This trip filled me up with everything I needed, and reminded me why I do what I
do. Sometimes, in taking the path less travelled you
discover things about a place, and about yourself,
that you didn’t know you needed to find.
