In Salzburg we roamed the streets, sat in
cafes and ate a bunch of pretzels with Mozart
serenading us in every nook and cranny of this
gorgeous city. After all it’s his birth place.
Off to Munich, where I couldn’t wait to get
over to Mytheresa (one of the coolest stores in
Europe) and shop shop shop. If you’re in Munich you must visit. If anything, it’s a bit like a
finely curated fashion museum!
While in Munich, don’t forget to visit the
Glockenspiel Clock, grab a coffee, take a seat
and watch the 15 minute show, which recounts
a royal wedding, jousting tournament and ritualistic dance. The show concludes with a golden
bird emerging and chirping three times… yes
this IS a clock people…it’s pretty amazing!
Our final destination was the magnificent
Nauschwanstein Castel. If you love fairy tales,
magic and ever wanted to be a princess or a
king, this is one of those bucket list items again.
This incredible castle and it’s history inspired
the famous Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle.
