Mulberry Art Influences Fashion - My admiration for architecture and design has always played a major influence on how I look at fashion. They create
a new dimension in how we wear and look at clothes and its affects on art, furniture graphics, and interior design. Everything from the structure, shape,
texture, print and color all represent an attitude and feeling that is most affective when harmonious.
Fashion, often influenced by Art, plays a significant role in this season’s Mulberry’s resort collection. This gorgeous number and zigzag print I am wearing
was inspired by the work of artist Marlow Moss, a British constructivist painter and sculpture. Aside from its modernist influence, the pattern and silhouette embraces a sense of nostalgia, albeit remaining modern in the style of English summertime and contrasts in tomboy meets femininity.
