The West region includes the Pacific
Ocean shoreline that stretches from
Alaska to the Washington, Oregon and
California coasts to Hawaii and the U.S.
territories in the South Pacific. Mountain
peaks and fertile valleys are found
throughout the West, which is a major
agricultural region. Visitors also can
