Tobymac: A Review
TobyMac (born Kevin Michael McKeehan) is known as one of the first Christian rappers.
TobyMac's genre is an unusual one in the Christian music world. His songs include a mix
of Hip-hop, Rock, Pop, Reggae and Rap, with an occasional guest singer such as Beckah
Shae, Jamie Grace, Nirva Ready and Lecrae.
He was a member of the Christian vocal trio 'DC Talk' in 1987. While a part of that group, he
released his first and second solo albums: 'Momentum' (2001), and 'Welcome to Diverse
City' (2004).
