Do you prefer film or digital ? The last time I shot with film was in Breckenridge CO , when I was some age between 5 and 7 . My grandparents gave me and my siblings disposable cameras to take images during our trip with them . But other than that , I ’ ve always been digital ! I would love to properly learn to shoot with film and edit in a darkroom , but digital will always be what I use professionally ! Especially with working with children , digital allows for so many more mistakes and to be able to double check my work to make sure I get everything .
What inspires you ? So many things ! People , art , stories , colors , feelings , I could go on and on ! Most of my shoot concepts I come up with from ideas within in my daily life and the people I meet , and the things I hear and see .
Whose work has influenced you most ? My sister , Caroline Ann Photography - she got me started ! And Work of Heart Photography was the first to expose me to more concept based shoots , which was when I really fell in love with photography .
If you had to choose one lens , which one would it be and why ? That ’ s super hard . But I would probably go with my 50mm prime lens . It ’ s a versatile lens that is kinda a happy medium for lenses , and you can get decent wide angle shots with also being able to get in close , too .
How should new clients reach you ? Email is always best .

What lighting equipment do you take on a shoot ? It really depends on the shoot ! I shoot with natural lighting more often than not , in which case I have a reflector / diffuser but that ’ s about it ! I also have soft boxes and flashes for when I shoot studio , but I am still learning to get better with studio lighting . How important is Photoshop in your final images ? I actually rarely use Photoshop at all ! I love Lightroom and use that for 98 % of all my editing . It is very user friendly and it helps me edit images in large batches .
