Very good . What would be your recommendation for finding a good photographer when you ’ re building your portfolio ?
Well , in your book , you need all different types of pictures . Everything needs to be diverse . You need headshots , you need full length shots , you need action shots . I don ’ t know , you need bikini shots , you need things that show your body . You need all sorts of things . I think when finding a photographer , you need to find somebody who can do something specifically for you that you ’ re lacking in your book . If you ’ re lacking headshots , you need to find somebody who specializes in headshots . Honestly , just somebody you have a good connection with , because if you don ’ t like the photographer personally , if you don ’ t connect with him on any level , then the pictures will show that . You need to find somebody you ’ re comfortable with . That ’ s extremely important . I think that when building your book , it could be a long process . And I ’ m going to say it again that it ’ s really important to get a bunch of different types of pictures . I think that the more natural the better , with some of the things . But of course , you ’ re going to want beauty . You ’ re going to want all different sorts of things . And finding
a photographer who does everything is extremely rare . You might have to go around and work with a couple of different ones . But just find somebody that you connect with . Find somebody you like . And look at their work . Do research beforehand . You can ask an agency who they recommend and then you can go yourself and look at their recommendations and figure out which one you think would work best for you . So just do your research . And I think that generally you ’ re going to find good photographers in LA and in a lot of these big cities .
