Yes, in high school and in college. In high school, I played
center; in college, I played whatever they needed, mostly
forward.

I like 9th grade. I have 8th graders this year who are about
to be freshman, and I really enjoy
teaching Freshmen.

I like to work in the yard, but I love doing things with my
dogs and, of course, there’s always seeing football games. I
like spending time with my family.

I love all the Detroit teams. I’m hoping to get behind the
Pistons this year, and I’m still cheering the Lions on. But
I’d love to see the Red Wings come back. And, well, we are
looking forward to the Tigers.

Team Michigan is a cross country team
made up of the top 12 Senior runners from
the state, determined by a qualifi er race. I
will be one of the 12 guys to travel to Day-
ton, Ohio, and race against the top Seniors
from Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.

What do you like about Team Michigan?

It seems like it will be a great experience
because it’s a good opportunity to get to know some of the other
highly competitive runners from throughout the state who I
could potentially be running with next year.

What college are you going to for cross country?
I haven’t made a decision yet on where I want to run next year,
but my current top schools are Michigan, Michigan State, and
Wisconsin. I hope to make my decision sometime in the winter.
