After a solid year regular season (21-
12), the Warriors lost to Catholic Central
in the Catholic League semi-fi nals, 4-2.
They open the State Playoffs
on June 1 at Warrior Park.
Junior Smith Casper says,
“The beginning of the season
was fi lled with strong competi-
tion in the Catholic League.
Now that that is over, I think
that though competition will
help us make a deep run in the
playoffs.”
This Warrior team has a lot
of pure talent and great coach-
ing. Hopefully, the Warriors
bring home some hardware.
“Our only goal for this year is to go
undefeated,” Junior Mason Everly says,
“and, so far, we have accomplished that
goal, but we still have work to do. Our
goal as a team for the remainder of the
season stays the same: Undefeated.

Lacrosse
After losing in the State Finals last
year, the Lacrosse team has had a sea-
son that we all expected so far: Perfect.
Hopefully, they will remain that way
for the remainder of their playoff run.

“We had a solid start to the sea-

fi nishes,”said Sophomore Max Brown.
“We are hoping to ride that momentum
to a State Championship.”
Thanks to Sophomores Dodi Onwu-
zurike and Joseph Shaya, the Track
team will be represented in the
State meet. Onwuzurike will be
running the 100m and 200m,
and Shaya will be running
the 1600m against the state’s
best runners on June 1 at East
Kentwood.
“Our team has had a good
season,” said Onwuzurike. “A
lot of different runners contrib-
uted when they were needed.
We went through a lot of ups
and downs, but came together
in the end.”
