Sports are a huge deal here at Rice . Big sports like Football , Hockey , and Lacrosse get a lot of attention . Other sports programs go unnoticed and underappreciated – most specifically , the Bowling and Skiing teams . Let ’ s look at how these teams expect to perform this year .

This year ’ s team is composed of
Senior Cole DeGroat and the Bowlers look forward to States
mostly Seniors with a bad taste in their mouth from last year . These guys are hungry and looking to seriously com- pete . “ There is no doubt in my mind that we have the ability to win states if we execute this season ,” said Sielicki .
The SKIING team is in a somewhat similar situation . Finishing third in the division last year , these guys are expecting big things coming into this season .
Looking to rebuild around their core group , Junior Captain Colin Condit said the team is “ looking to compete at Regionals ” this season .
Good luck to both teams , as they hope to perform to the best of their ability this season .
