January’s Artist - Rupert
Emerson
During January 2018 the
CYC art wall is featuring
prints by Rupert Emerson
that were created by the
traditional method of Stone
Lithography.
Rupert studied at
Hertfordshire College of Art
and until recently painted
in watercolour and oil.
Three years ago Rupert began studying with
Simon Burder at Oaks Fine Art Studio and this
year was selected as one
of the “Lithographers of the
World”.
Four of the works being
shown are of scenes in
Chichester Harbour.

4pm on New Year’s Day at
the Club to hear about the
technique of Stone
Lithography.
