Final Frozen Toe Race - Grey and Windless !
A much diminished fleet of boats turned out for the finale of the Frozen Toe .
The combination of the last Sunday before Christmas and the absence of any wind made an afternoon of wrapping presents seem appealing .
The only things that were moving quickly were the swans that passed us making a lot of noise , but unfortunately not disturbing the air enough to make us move .
At the end of one lap , Mark Harper let us off and we returned to the sloop for a welcome glass of mulled wine .
When the results were calculated there was no
doubt about the overall winner , Guy Mayger from Felpham , who only slipped once from the top spot in all the races .
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Frozen Toe .
