A familiar sign in a familiar location,
overlooking a channel to the sea, caught the
eye of David and Amanda Pearce on their
travels. The club is attached to a small marina of 34
berths and has a very full social calendar. And
just like our CYC, the kitchen was recently
refurbished and modernised.
Welcome to the other CYC, that’s Carnarvon
Yacht Club, next to Shark Bay on the coast of
Western Australia. Club history? “We are very old” is how the
website describes it.
