We spent a convivial time at the bar catching
up with friends we had not seen for some time
before moving to the recently decorated Upper
Deck where we enjoyed a very good three
course meal served by our staff.
Forty members of the Yacht Section attended
the Annual Dinner, and on this occasion we
had no speaker or entertainment but judging
by the lively chatter, a good evening was had
by all.
Thank you to Andy, Tom and your team for
good food and service.
David Roberts, our Rear Commodore,
welcomed us including some new members,
and reminded us that the Cruising Season
began with the Easter Cruise.

Also, the final lecture of the winter, on 8 April,
will be a talk from the Deputy Harbour Master
of Chichester Harbour.
Don’t forget that members of the Yacht Section
continue to meet throughout the summer if
they are not away sailing, on the second
Friday of each month from 6.30pm.
This is an opportunity to meet like-minded
members for a chin wag and to exchange
ideas about boat maintenance and new places
to explore on the water.
We look forward to seeing old and new
members there.
