Snowflake Finale — by Mark Green
It was a very grey day for the finale of the
2017 Snowflake but despite the relatively
early start time of 10:30 we had a good
turn-out of 38 boats.
The Race officer, Phil Allan, had to deal
with the fluky winds which shifted by 30
degrees during the race.
In the Fast Fleet the Shoreham Merlins
made an appearance, maybe to get their
eye in for the Merlin Open on 1st of April.
In the Medium fleet there was a great
turn-out in the Single handers with nine
lasers, four Aeros, four Solos, plus a
selection of others.
The final results of the series can be seen
on the Website here.
In addition to the winners of the fleets we
awarded a number of specific prizes.

I know that I enjoyed every one of the

up their Sunday mornings to help.
