GARY GILCHRIST APPOINTED HEAD COACH OF HONG KONG TEAM Gary Gilchrist is joining the Hong Kong Golf Association as Hong Kong Team Head Coach. In this role, Gilchrist will be strengthening the training and development programs at Hong Kong Golf Association. The appointment represents the HKGA’s ongoing efforts to maximize the full potential of talented young local golfers, and to support them in their goal of representing Hong Kong at international tournaments such as the Asian Games and Olympics Games. The goal of this partnership is to build a training program for the HKGA that mirrors that of the GGGA training philosophy and the system of training utilized at the Gary Gilchrist Golf academy in Florida. In October, Gary traveled to Hong Kong to work with the coaching team of HKGA. During this intensive week of training and development, Gary worked with the HKGA coaches and also spent one-on-one time with nearly 60 students that are members of the HKGA. “Gary Gilchrist brings years of experience coaching top players,” remarked Mr. Nishi Yoshihiro, President of the Hong Kong Golf Association. “He has also been a pioneer and driving force in the training of junior golfers.
