Leadership Emporia is starting its 30th class, and is known across the State of Kansas as being one of the best leadership programs. Did you know we offered both individual and group coaching? Other topics have included learning more about social media, upcoming regulations, and HR issues that are important for the business community to know. Advertising: When you are a member, you will be listed in the Chamber directory three different ways: Alphabetically, directory style and who’s who. Members are also listed in our Relocation Magazine. Both of these publications are electronic, and can have active links to your website through any advertising that you choose to do in those publications. Advertising costs for the bi-monthly newsletter are very modest, so call to learn more! Committees: Volunteering to serve on a committee that fits your interests or expertise creates leadership opportunities, helps you become better known in the community, and can help position you as an expert in your field. As an example, The Ambassadors have a built-in opportunity to welcome and meet new members.
