All sessions will be from 5:50 p . m . to 7:30 p . m .
The Board Leadership Series provides an opportunity to give community-based boards ( elected , appointed , or recognized by local units of government ) affordable training necessary to be most effective and efficient with their responsibilities . Sessions will include : Roles & Responsibilities of Board Members / Effective Meetings , Understanding Fellow Board Members / Conflict Resolution , Fiscal Responsibilities / Legal and Ethical Issues , and Fundraising and Strategic Planning . The final session will be a panel discussion with local people who work directly with these session topics .
Cost : $ 40 for all four sessions for one board member . Registration buys a seat which can be rotated by board members ! Call the Lyon County Extension Office at ( 620 ) 341-3220 to negotiate a price for group rates .
