Celebration Luncheon, Friday, Dec. 8, 11:45 a.m.
You are required to attend the Opening Retreat, all
program sessions and the Celebration Luncheon. The
sessions run from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• Applicants will be notified of acceptance or non-
acceptance within two weeks of the deadline.
ATTENDANCE
The 2017 schedule is as follows:
Opening Retreat Thursday, Sept. 21, and Friday,
Sept. 22, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Session #1 Thursday, Oct. 5
Session #2 Thursday, Oct. 19
Session #3 Thursday, Nov. 2
Session #4 Thursday, Nov. 16
If accepted into the Leadership Emporia program,
you or your company/organization will be responsible
for the tuition fee of $350, which covers all costs
including materials, meals, and refreshments
associated with the sessions. The fee is due prior to the
first session. Please do not send payment with your
application. You will be invoiced upon acceptance into
the program.
A limited amount of scholarship funds are available.
The Selection Committee will attempt to award these
funds based on need. If you would like to apply for a
scholarship, please contact the Chamber of Commerce
for a scholarship application. Late scholarship
applications will be denied.
