If you missed this years’ Taste of Grove
City and Business Expo on March 15, you
missed a great evening of food, friends,
business and networking. Please join
me in congratulating our winners: Texas
Roadhouse and Brew Brothers tied for
Best Restaurant and Best New Pizza in
Grove City went to Marco's Pizza. Con-
gratulations to all!!
The Chamber has some great events com-
ing up that you and your business associ-
ates and friends will not want to miss…
‘What Happens in Grove City Stays in
Grove City’, the Chamber Foundation
Fundraiser is scheduled for April 29 at the
Ballroom at Oakhurst Country Club. Your
ticket will open the doors for the evening
featuring the big band sounds of ‘Swings
the Thing’ and comedy magic by Carroll
Baker. Full dinner and a cash bar along
with casino games a silent auction and
entry for some BIG dollar prizes are all
part of your evening. Contact Marilyn at
[email protected] for tickets and
details.
Barb Smoot, keynote speaker and multiple
breakout session presenters are all lined
up for this year’s WE:LEAD Business Fo-
rum ‘Practical Pathways to Personal and
Professional Growth’ scheduled for May 17
at Harrison College. Invite your employ-
ees, coworkers and business associates
to this well respected women’s business
forum.
In case all of that does not convince you
that Grove City is the place to be – the
Farmers’ Market (spring produce) starts
up on May 20. Watch for vendor/farmer
listing as well as the dates and names of
the featured guest chefs that will be cre-
ating delicious, nutritious, locally grown
dishes – with plenty of samples - during
our cooking demonstrations.
Our community is stronger and richer as
we come together and support local busi-
ness. As you browse ‘Chamber Business
