The Grove City Chamber Foundation Making a Difference , One Scholarship at a Time
The Grove City Chamber Foundation was established in 2012 by a group of volunteers from the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce that were passionate about enhancing the educational opportunities of our community . Although the board has changed over the years the focus has not and we have been able to give over $ 44,000 to area students .
The Grove City Chamber Foundation raises money to give to deserving people for educational purposes . These scholarships can be used toward a college degree , technical training and certifications for career advancement . The Grove City Chamber Foundation has three categories for scholarships .
• Employees and Family of Chamber member businesses
• Students that are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program whose primary residence is within the South-Western City School District attendance area , or anyone who has previously received a scholarship from the Chamber foundation
• Graduating high school seniors residing in the South-Western City School District attendance area .
Our focus for the future is twofold : to continue to provide scholarships in our three categories and to continue to educate the community about the Foundation . As we continue to grow , we will be able to provide more educational scholarships to the community to assist the development of tomorrow ’ s business leaders .
