BIKE COURSE WRITTEN DESCRIPTION

1. Athletes will exit transition and ride East on Lakeshore Dr.

2. Turn right on Main St.

3. Turn left on E. Wade Ave. which becomes Government St.

4. Continue South on Government St. for approximately 3 km

5. Turn right on Dawson Ave. and continue West

6. Turn left onto South Main St. and continue South

7. South Main St. becomes East Side Rd.

8. Continue South on East Side Rd. for approximately 8 km.

9. Turn left on McLean Creek Rd.

11. McLean Creek Rd. becomes 10th Ave.

11. Turn right on Maple St.

12, Turn left on 7th Ave.

13. Turn left on Cedar St.

14. Turn right on 8th Ave.

15. Turn left on Railway Ln.

16. Turn right onto Highway 97 and continue North.

17. Continue North on Highway 97

18. Highway 97 veers right and becomes Skaha Lake Rd.

19. Continue East on Skaha Lake Rd.

20. Turn right on Lee Ave.

21. Turn left on South Main St. and continue North

22. Turn right on Dawson Ave. and continue East.

23. Turn left on Government St. and continue North.

24. Government St. becomes E Wade Ave.

25. Turn right onto Main St. and continue to Lakeshore Drive

(CHANGE NOT SHOWN ON MAP)

26. STANDARD ATHLETES - Dismount your bike at the Bike

Dismount Line and continue into Transition.

HALF ATHLETES - Make a U-turn at the marked location and repeat steps 1-24 for the second loop of the bike course and then Dismount your bike at the Bike Dismount Line and continue into Transition.
