A THIRTY - CLAUSE RESOLUTION!!

After lunch when the delegates of UNTWO 1 came back nobody was late. They continued with the discussion on the resolution submitted by U.K. During the debate the majority seemed to agree with it but the chairs wanted to discuss it a bit more and gave a few minutes to read it again, as it had been through many changes. Brazil had objections when it came time to vote and was fully against the resolution, however, it passed. Then, they moved on to the resolution submitted by Lybia and discussed it until the end of the session. Bangladesh, U.K, Mexico and France were very active and kept the debate animated.

In the afternoon the delegates of the RCRC committee voted the resolution of Serbia and it passed.

France submitted a resolution about Child Soldiers. The resolution was especially focused on avoiding children being involved into conflicts and on fighting the military forces and criminal organizations that use children in wars.

There were many amendments submitted, some proposed radical changes, while some just modified some specific details .The resolution passed.

During the debate, maybe because the delegates were tired after they had discussed all day, there was some confusion and the president definitely had to ask for attention.

France, with the important collaboration of other countries and National Societies, submitted another resolution concerning humanitarian corridors and safe transit for migrants. The resolution was very detailed, it had thirty clauses and at the end of the presentation all the delegates clapped.
