Program for the Prevention of
Child Trafficking and Child Abuse

Goal: Prevent child trafficking,
abuse, and exploitation in Chi-
ang Khong.
Project: Educated local school
children about their rights,
trained 50 youth leaders to
create awareness-raising mini
projects within their communi-
ties, and equipped ten business
owners and staff with the skills to
combat human trafficking.
Impact: Children in the commu-
nity are now more fully aware of
their rights and are empowered
Women’s Lens
to become agents of change. In
2017, the program will expand
to partner with 50 businesses,
and will begin working in high
risk areas for children including
construction sites and factories.

teenage pregnancy.
