anywhere, including your corner drug store. Blotting powders are another alternative to reduce shine. Many come in compacts and contain nourishing ingredients that benefit your skin. If you do decide to use a blotting powder, make sure to wash the powder puff often with antibacterial dish soap. You may want to purchase an additional puff, or several, to rotate through while they dry completely. Then, use an aerosol sunblock to keep your skin protected. Make sure to hold the can about 12 inches from your face for even distribution, and to avoid ruining your makeup.

Another solution is using misters! There are some incredible misters on the market that do not tamper with your makeup; if anything, they help it stay put, and are quite refreshing. Like the powders, they have specific ingredients to

help nourish the skin, while maintaining your glow. You can blot first, then spray and allow to dry. However, these products are designed to be sprayed directly onto the face with no prep-work, so blotting is not required. Try Urban Decay's Chill Cooling and Hydrating Makeup Setting Spray. Once dry, don't forget to reapply your sunblock! Some misters come with sunblock already formulated in (a big winner!) I definitely recommend these. Plus, it adds convenience to practicality with one step versus

two or three. Try Supergoop Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50, or Coola SPF 30 Organic Matte Makeup Setting Spray.

I tried the Coola spray when on vacation, and it not only reapplied my sunscreen, it refreshed my skin, without spoiling my makeup. I loved it!

You should really get into a routine to keep your skin healthy for your makeup to look flawless while you are working. We all know makeup looks best when your skin is happy! To do that, you will want to replenish it with hydration and antioxidants. Products high in antioxidants help fight free radical damage caused by the sun and weather, as antioxidants are key ingredients that helps rebuild damaged cells. Practice exfoliating once or twice a week followed by a mask at least once. A great recommendation is using "boosters" or "serums" that you can massage into the skin prior to your night cream, and even day cream. Night creams are typically formulated to be a little more potent for maximum effect while your body is at rest. Adding a booster or serum enhances nutritional value that penetrates deep into the skin as well as help lock in moisture to revitalize your skin.

Stay cool, calm, and refreshed! Happy (and safe) drive/commute, Sunshines!
