CHICKPEA BURGER One of the biggest challenges of parenting is trying to get your kids to eat vegetables. There are tips to turn the veggies into cool shapes. Another option is to hide them altogether. Check out these veggie recipes for kids.   INGREDIENTS   2 cups cooked chickpeas 1 stalk celery, diced small 1 carrot, grated 1/2 onion, minced 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 cup flour salt and pepper to taste  oil for frying INSTRUCTIONS WE HELP YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED IN LIFE. 1. Drain and rinse your canned chickpeas. 2. Mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher until they are almost completely mashed. 3. Add the carrot, onion, garlic powder, and flour to the mashed chickpeas. Season with salt and pepper. 4. When everything is combined well, heat a skillet with the oil for approximately 3 minutes. 5. Form your mashed chickpea mixture into patties and pan-fry until the patties are golden brown on each side. This will take approximately 3 to 4 minutes. *Original Recipe:   CEOMOM   |   30
