Alberta Prairie Railway Travel back in time on board a steam or diesel-powered passenger train from the early 1900s. Guests will experience travel as it once was, on-board entertainment, live on-going commentary on-route, a rural Alberta community unchanged from the 1920s, a train robbery and a community hall buffet meal. Trains include a children’s play area, concession and bar areas, open-air observation coach, and various styles of enclosed passenger coaches with opening windows.
