Current and former residents of Rocky Mountain House planted a seed
of what grew into the Rocky Mountain House Reunion Historical Society.
At first, the group held reunions. In 1973 the non-profit society formed,
and work began on a local history book. The group completed the book
in 1977. In 1983, the Rocky Museum opened in an old donated school
building. After much fundraising effort, the new museum building opened
in 2000. Come and visit us this year!
