Dr. Woods
House
Museum
A visit to the unique Dr. Woods House Museum in Leduc allows you to
experience the home life of pioneer doctor, Dr. Woods, and his family
during the 1920s and 30s. The historical house, with a small medical
wing and attached garage, was built in 1927. In the late 1930s the
house was occupied by Leduc constituency MLA Ronald Earl Ansley, who
was instrumental in leading the backbenchers in a non-confidence vote
against Premier Aberhart in 1937 during the Depression.
