One of the newest additions to Queen Mother Square is The Dorset Wine Company , which relocated from Peverell Avenue West in May
The showcase shop , owned by Jonathan Charles , offers an incredible range of wine , spirits and liqueurs and customers are able to enjoy wine by the glass or bottle for tastings . Following the popular summer pizza events alongside Jalopy Pizza , Jonathan is hoping to organise more pop-up restaurants two evenings a month with Yalbury Cottage . He said : “ We ' re pleased we made the move because the bigger premises have allowed us to do tastings and the events we ’ ve held have been really popular .” Wine is available all week until 6.30pm and 8pm on Fridays .
