ROYAL NAMES FOR QUEEN MOTHER SQUARE
Many of the buildings in Queen Mother Square are named after the Queen Mother ’ s Racehorses . These include Royal Pavilion , Kingspoint , Inch Arron , Archpoint and Newborough .
The majestic Strathmore House and Bowes Lyon Court are both named after the Queen Mother ’ s grandfather – Claude Bowes-Lyon , who was the 14th Earl of Strathmore . The Duchess of Cornwall was named in honour of Her Royal Highness .
