Parkers Property Consultants and Valuers is close to entering its seventh year of trading and it ’ s been an exciting and eventful time for both the company and Poundbury . The expanding team here at Parkers are looking forward to the future and are enthusiastically anticipating the continued evolvement and development to come .
Back in 2010 , perched on the outskirts of the development at the time , Parkers began its journey . Since then Poundbury life has built up and grown and the welcoming reception we so gratefully received from the residents and businesses is something we like to ensure is passed on to newcomers .
Parkers operates from a simple ethic of delivering an honest and professional service . Selling and purchasing a home can often be highly emotive and stressful for a great number of reasons and Parkers takes pride in ensuring that each and every client , and their individual circumstances , motivations and needs , are respected and serviced . I believe the key to our business is recommendation . We use many tools to actively promote our business and the properties we are instructed to market - however , the most rewarding response for everyone in the office is when new customers tell us they were recommended to do so by a friend or family member . There is nothing more concrete to reassure me that we are doing our job well than that .
In the last six years Parkers has firmly established itself within the local community of Poundbury and also its neighbouring towns and villages . Everyone at Parkers lives and works within the areas they service and therefore has a vested interest . My team are keen to involve themselves locally and welcome the opportunity to offer sponsorship and support to worthwhile local events and charities . We always relish the opportunity to get involved in the events hosted on Poundbury .
The community spirit here is quite something .
It is this fun , welcoming and bouyant spirit that has attracted me to relocate my family to Poundbury seven months ago . I enjoy the work life balance in Poundbury and the warm feel from its residents . The structural development and its aesthetics speaks for itself and , matched with the community Poundbury offered , it was gradually becoming an obvious place to locate my family .
My wife Emma and I could be close to hand to work and settle the family somewhere we have a deep seated investment and interest in professionally and personally . Anyone with their own business can confirm you are never not working and so Poundbury gave us the perfect setting to achieve what we wanted for home and work life .
We love living here . It is so nice to walk around and see so many people enjoying Poundbury life . We are surrounded by fabulous neighbours and have even encouraged close friends to come and join us !
There is a great deal of pride I feel about being a part of this fabulous development and watching the remainder of it take shape and evolve is an exciting prospect .
Looking forward to this year we will release a new phase of houses and the completion of the much awaited Strathmore House apartments . Resale properties will continue to be highly popular and , with its newest office in Bridport , Parkers net continues to widen .
