The North East Quadrant will deliver an extra 550 homes over the next five years
completed at the end of 2016 , which will be the new home for Damers First School from Spring 2017 . Plans are also being drawn up to expand the current building work further . Mr Conibear said : “ In accordance with Leon Krier ’ s masterplan and the current outline planning permission for Poundbury – the Duchy is designing the next phase of 350 homes for what we will be calling the Northern Quadrant . “ It will sit behind the North East Quadrant and Queen Mother Square .” The planning application for this development is being submitted this spring and the Northern Quadrant will begin construction in 2017 with an estimated completion of 2022 .
