Kia ora to Greg “urst” and Nigel Champion, two very important people in my life. If you guys hadn’t hooked up with
Bill Robertson at LMAP back in 1985/86, we wouldn’t be here today with the Les Mills programs in over 85 countries.
Congratulations to you both. Greg, you probably won’t remember this but back in the “bad old days” when we had no
money and I was living on someone’s couch, thank you so much for the lovely little phone calls you used to make to me, to
keep me on track and to remind me that it was going to work! So as one of the previous CEOs thank you for your service
to Les Mills and I’ve loved knowing you through all these years. Nigel, you’ve always been a wonderful sounding board for
me, and I’ve always loved watching you work and I’m glad we’re still talking regularly. Cheers to you guys. I love you both
lots and I hope you have a fabulous celebration – happy anniversary!

Tēna korua e nga Rangātira Greg raua ko Nigel… thank you for the last three decades. You deserve all the kudos you’re
probably receiving around this celebration.
Greg, I’ll never forget the very first PUMP workshop audition in front of the Network staff, before we went on tour. I’ve never
been so petrified in all my life presenting to such a critical bunch of people and I got a bit of a hiding that night from you
guys and went off with my tail between my legs, but took it on the chin and came back and we rebuilt that workshop with
you guys, and it went on to be one of the best, and set the wheels turning for the Les Mills machine around the world.
Nigel, to you – my mentor of statesmanship, always the diplomat; always the person with the level head and the ability
to see the woods from the trees. I have really appreciated and valued your guidance over the years. The second aspect,
which you may not even be aware of, is the influence you had in encouraging and supporting Emma, myself and other
members of the team, to keep the culture going at Les Mills International, particularly the Maori culture; a large piece of
the influence for the Les Mills Haka came from you.
There are people all around the world who will be singing your praises and you deserve it, because your influence on all of
us over the last 30 years has been amazing; and it continues to be so. Thank you for giving me a little piece of your lives
to help me get through and enjoy what has been an amazing time in an amazing industry.
Congrats on the 30 th Year Milestone… Mauri Ora.

Congratulations, Nigel and Greg! It was in 1990 at Network #3 on the Gold Coast, when the Aeromic was first introduced
to the industry, and ever since then it’s just gotten bigger and bigger. Today, it’s still handmade in Sydney by Peter and his
team, and it’s sold all around the fitness world! The other thing we have in common with Nigel and Greg is… we’ve ALL lost
our hair doing this job! Congratulations and Happy 30 th !
