BUILT IN THE EARLY 17TH CENTURY,
YORK HOUSE IS A GRADE II LISTED
BUILDING WITH A FASCINATING
HISTORY.
An elegant room and beautiful gardens that lead
down to the banks of the River Thames, provide
a wonderful setting for your ceremony. There is a
small public car park to the front of the building,
with other car parks nearby.
Decorated in light and airy neutral colours, and
with a long aisle to make that all important
entrance, the Loggia overlooks a secluded garden
at the rear of York House. Beautiful silk flower
arrangements that are changed regularly to reflect
the seasons, enhance the décor of this room
which is licensed for 75 guests.
It is an ideal setting for any ceremony, including a
more intimate occasion with a smaller number of
guests.
A music system can play your choices from CDs or
your phone or music player. Alternatively, you may
wish to have a small group of live musicians to
enhance your ceremony and atmosphere.
Ceremonies are booked to start on the hour,
and we allow an hour in total for your ceremony
including completion of pre-ceremony paperwork
checking.  
If you wish to maintain the tradition of not seeing
each other until you meet at the start of the
ceremony, this can be arranged – although please
note that we cannot guarantee to keep you out of
sight of all of your guests.
After your ceremony, you will lead your guests
directly out into the gardens for photographs.  
You are welcome to use confetti - but it must be
biodegradable only - to preserve the beauty of the
gardens for everyone.
