Vaughan Animal Services Manager Susan Kelly
VAUGHAN ANIMAL SERVICES is dedicated to creating a safe and
healthy environment for pets and their owners. Its many services include
a shelter for strays, dog and cat licensing, animal control by-law education, pick up of injured or stray dogs and cats, reuniting owners with
lost pets, and pet adoption. New this fall is an in-house wildlife service
to respond to calls about sick or injured wildlife in Vaughan. This service
provides response to calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The people at Vaughan Animal Services do an incredible job and are
dedicated to finding a safe and happy home for all animals in
the shelter. They are also committed to increasing the recovery
rate of lost pets.
The shelter is often in need of volunteers and donations. If you’re an
animal lover, they have great volunteer programs for both teens and
adults. If you’d like to donate, they welcome blankets, treats or toys
for the animals waiting to be adopted.
