These ceremonies follow a similar format to a marriage ceremony and are tailored to meet the individual circumstances of the couple. Couples can choose to include readings and music, exchange new rings or their original ones, include children or other family members. To assist you we have included some readings and poems which have featured in ceremonies on the previous pages in this publication. A commemorative certificate is signed at the ceremony and there are a range of other commemorative certificates which can be purchased to mark the occasion. It is also possible to purchase confetti in advance from the Registration Service. Ceremonies can be held at any of ceremony rooms around the County and in any of the approved venues, it may be possible to hold them in other venues subject to additional costs and suitable risk assessment.
