Relationship With God http://achievebalance.com/data/relatewithgod.htm Many of us have heard the proclamation that “unless you have a personal relationship with Jesus you are going to hell”. I do not want to either support or argue the point, but I want to help clarify something beyond that statement. Will you admit to me that there are good people in the town or city in which you live that you have not invited to your house? If you have invited all the good people, you probably live in a small town or village, but for many of us, we can admit that we haven’t allowed all good people is our part of the world to come into our house. I know that I haven’t. Because? Think about it. Honestly. It is very possible that you have never invited them because you have no relationship with them. You don’t know them. I do not condemn you for not inviting them, I merely point out that they exist, they don’t get invitations, and they don’t come over. It is not an evil situation, it is neutral. It is natural. To get the invitation you need a relationship. Especially so for an open invitation for an extended visit. No relationship, no invitation, no opening of the door when you get there. LISTEN! It’s the same for heaven. Jesus says so Himself. If God has no relationship with you, you are not going to be allowed in. Just as some of the good people in your town don’t get into your house, and there’s no ques tion of whether or not that is fair, there is no question of whether or not it is fair for some good people to not get into God’s house. Exam Wars Trevor Hawthorn A long time ago in a school far, far away there lived a student who had a very important war to fight, the fight against the dreaded exam. A force so strong ever since the fall of the young StudentWalker. He was proclaimed to beat the exam but the Examperor found his weakness. He knew that the love of his life Procrastination Amidala, the Examperor promised Studentwalker that Procrastination would not die during the exam invasion, if he would just join him. Studentwalker agreed, betraying the study council and his Master Final 30% Gradenobi; this led to a war breaking out between The Examperor and The Study Council. Studentwalker, blinded by his love for Procrastination, did the worst thing possible in his lfie. He marched into The Study Temple, removing all the paper and killing all of the pencils. This caused great havoc in the Study Council, they scattered through the entire campus. The Examperor knew that if the Studies were left alive he would not be able to control the campus, he executed order Exam Permit. This led to the destruction of all Studies. The Examperor almost succeeded at destroying almost the entire Study Council, except the old wise Master Responsible escaped and traveled back to the Study Temple, ready to fight the long over duty with The Examperor. They fought for a long while, but it wasn’t looking good for Master Responsible. Eventually Master Responsible had fallen, giving ultimate power to The Examperor. He sent Studentwalker to the far ends of the campus, but as he traveled Procrastination followed him not knowing that she was bringing his former master Gradenobi. Gradenobi knew what he had to do. He knew that he had to turn his back to him or else, destroy. So, they drew their weapons and fought valiantly. Gradenobi begged Studentwalker to return to them, but it was too late, there was no going back, this left him with no choice other than to destroy his former student! They fought as long as they could, but Studentwalker made an unintelligent move, causing him to lose the fight. Gradenobi left him there alive, leaving to get Procrastination medical aid before she would lose her child. They looked for help at the nurse’s office. When they found out she was having a twin, she named the first one Bad and the second one Grades. Sadly she pasted away. Afterwards, Gradenobi asked Master Responsibility why she would name her kids Bad and Grades. He says that is what you get when you mix a student with procrastination.
