3) When there are greater than 12-14 students who qualify (eligible players) to play on the
varsity teams, students will then be evaluated based on their skill set and experience
playing basketball.
4) If after steps 1-3 have taken place and there are still openings on a team, then
homeschool students will be considered for the remaining openings. Steps 1-3 will be
used to evaluate those students’ eligibility to play on the CCS varsity basketball teams.
When possible, CCS will attempt to create Junior Varsity teams; however, this is not always
possible due to a variety of factors, including available coaches, opponents, or an adequate
number of interested players
