2016 / 17 Annual Report
Peter Kaneen also supported CCF in its review of the OHS Regulations ( 2017 ) which came into effect 1 June 2017 , and a series of workshops will be conducted in the second half of 2017 to inform CCF members of key changes and impacts following its ’ release .
• CCF also developed and distributed a ‘ Member Services - Staff & Services ’ brochure that provided a breakdown of services available to CCF members and who members should contact to use them ( below ).
CCF VICTORIA – “ ON THE MOVE ”
In keeping with the prudent governance and management of CCF funds , a new office for our Victorian CCF Administration and Civil Train training function was purchased in November 2016 with major works currently being undertaken .
There were strong economic and social arguments supporting this purchase including a robust business case and significant cost savings for the Branch , while the new complex will provide a professional and cohesive environment for our CCF business operations .
Located at 9 Business Park Drive , Notting Hill ; the property is in close proximity to the M1 - Monash Freeway ( Forster Road exit & entrance ) and brings the CCF operations closer to its major membership base , located in the South-East corridor .
Contracts for construction works ( stage 2 ) were awarded to A1 Office in June 2017 with stage 1 and 2 works being supervised by our Project Manager , Keith Lavington , from Business Parks Management Pty Ltd . The finishes and ambience created by Dilmini Dissayanake , are rustic , rough and earthy , reflecting on our proud membership base who work in the natural environment .
New CCF Training and Operations facility under construction .
It is anticipated works at the new office and CCF operations transition to Notting Hill will be complete by the end of November 2017 .
We acknowledge the work undertaken by Project Manager , Keith Lavington and Dilmini Dissayanake , as part of the Office Working Group .
MEETING YOUR NEEDS
A key outcome and recommendation in the development of CCF Victoria ’ s 2016 / 17 Business Plan , was to commission an independent Process Fitness Review ( PFR ), or Health Check , to identify process improvements in CCF ’ s business delivery and service model .
In August 2016 , local and national business advisors , Pitcher Partners , were commissioned to determine what services aligned to our strategy are valued by Members and how well CCF is placed as an organisation to support its delivery and service model .
