FEATURED CONFERENCE SPEAKERS Brittany Misner Brittany is the Vice President of the Licking County Chamber of Commerce. A Licking County native, she graduated from Lakewood High School and received her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Central Ohio Technical College. Brittany serves on the Lakewood Board of Education, Explore Licking County, Kiwanis Club of Newark, Young Leaders of Licking County, Buckeye Lake Region Corporation, and the Licking County Courthouse Lighting Board of Directors. She is a member of the Women’s Leadership Network Conference Planning Committee, United Way Campaign Cabinet, COTC Alumni Council, and volunteers as the Children Ministry Leader at Hebron New Life UMC. In 2016, she was named one of the Newark Advocate’s Top 20 under 40 in Licking County. Erica Hawkins Erica is the Program Coordinator for The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as the facilitator to the Lima Young Professionals. Before she began employment with the Chamber, Erica worked as a Cafe' General Manager for 4 years. Erica is a 2004 graduate of Perry High School in Lima. She obtained an Associates degree in business and a Bachelors degree in the Science of Communications through the University of Phoenix. In her free time, Erica likes to travel with her 16 year old daughter, Alazae, who studies cosmetology at Apollo Career Center in Lima. Erica enjoys sharing business ideas and leads with the intent on changing the world (or at least Lima). Mark Bruns Mark is the Executive Director of The Huber Heights Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of CCEO. Before he began employment with the Chamber, Mark worked with the Huber Heights Police Department for 33 years until retirement. He earned his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Sinclair Community College. He is passionate about his work with several youth advocate committees and speaks on these issues that are impacting his local community. In his spare time, him and his wife are enjoying the restoration of a their historic home with the anticipation to open it as a banquet facility. Jodie A. Perry, CCE, IOM, CCEO-AP Jodie has served as President & CEO of the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce in Mansfield, Ohio since July, 2014. Prior to this position, she led the Greece (NY) Chamber of Commerce and the Van Wert (OH) Area Chamber of Commerce and also served on staff at the Ashland (OH) Area Chamber of Commerce. Jodie received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Religion from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. In 2008 she graduated from the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management earning the IOM designation. In 2018 she received her Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation, the highest certification in the industry. She is on the Board of Trustees for the Institute for Organizational Management and Vice-Chair for CCEO (Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio).
