Reem Hegab (Contemporary Dance) An Egyptian independent/freelance director choreographer, performer (dancer and actress) and writer, with an MA in Choreography - Performing Arts, Middlesex University – London – UK, and BA in English Literature and Language, Cairo University – Egypt. Founder and Artistic Director of MALH studio (founded in 2003), she started ballet and piano practice at the age of 7 at the Cairo Conservatory and the Institute of Ballet, Reem started contemporary dance in 1996. She choreographed, danced and directed over 20 performances since 1996, participated in festivals, forums, diverse workshops, and toured with her own work in many countries. Anna Maria Suykerbuyk (Contemporary Dance) Anna Maria Suykerbuyk is a Dutch dancer and choreographer who has worked in dance since 2007. She creates multidisciplinary projects and provides theatrical experiences through her art performance company Sine Forma. Anna Maria has been a regular visitor to Cairo since 2014, where she loves to produce events (“Battle of the Elements”), create work (“Since I am, definitely you are”, “+/-“, “Ignorance is Bliss”), and teach dance and movement at the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center. Nicole Roerick (Contemporary Dance) Nicole Roerick is a Dance Artist and Educator from the United States who relocated to Egypt n July 2014. She has her MFA and BFA in Dance and has been making work and performing for almost 10 years. She formed her company, Nicole Roerick Collective, in fall 2011 and is now presenting her work here in Egypt. She has taught Dance to all levels and ages around the U.S. for 7 years. She is a certified Yoga instructor and teaches Yoga classes at many places in Egypt. 7
