The bridesmaids wore Show Me Your MuMu gowns of different styles
in shades of sage and blush. The groomsmen wore light khaki pants
with brown belts, white button down shirts, and light grey jackets with
pocket squares. All items were from Nordstrom and Banana Republic.

Lhuillier gown. The gown
was light and flowy—ideal
for the Cayman heat and
for dancing all night long.
- Island Reunion -
to each other by a mutual
friend during their senior year of college in 2009. The two hit it off right
away and the rest is history! Every year for their anniversary, Ashley and
Alex visit Charleston, SC (one of their favorite cities) to celebrate. It was
on their six-year anniversary trip to Charleston that Alex finally proposed
after a walking food tour through the city.
For Ashley and Alex, getting married on the beach was a no-brainer.
Growing up on the East Coast, Alex always knew he wanted a beach
wedding. Meanwhile, Ashley and her family had been visiting the
Cayman Islands ever since she was three years old, and it quickly became
one of her favorite places in the whole world. Friends and family flew to
Grand Cayman from all over the United States in order to celebrate their
big day, held at Grand Old House. The couple wanted the wedding to be
small and intimate, which is exactly what they got. The event followed a
color scheme of sage and blush with gold accents that extended beyond
the decor to the bridesmaid dresses. Aside from the beach and amazing
views, Ashley and Alex fell in love with the island due to its incredible
food. They hosted a rehearsal dinner BBQ at The Wharf Restaurant the
night before the wedding and finished off the week with a post-wedding
brunch at Luca, Caribbean Club. They also chose Grand Old House
as their wedding venue, which provided full catering services on the big
day. The sunset ceremony was officiated by Ashley’s best friend’s father.

Celebrations Ltd created a bouquet
comprising blush, peach, and white
flowers accented with baby’s breath
and eucalyptus. The bridesmaids
carried bouquets of simple white tulips.
