Blue whale’s song Nadia Gerassimenko I. Have you heard The Blue Whale’s Song? It’s like the siren in a submarine, the ocean shaking. Like jazz off-the-cuff but instinctive / effortless It’s a lament an echoing, always echoing. II. Have you seen a blue whale bleed? Cornered & harpooned, the open sea is no refuge. Majestic body pierces, bleeds & the ocean blue soaks & Downpour may dilute the sinner, seawater retains the sin. bleeds; scarlets. III. Are you looking for the whales? They’re on the beach, death stranding. As if they know the sea’s not safe, how Gaia’s fury ripples waves, & everyone is punished. As if they see from above / beyond how it all started & can’t be turned. 18 Cauldron Anthology
